Newton 2-Stage Baby Crib Mattress

We’ve had this mattress for six months and the fact that it flips to a second stage is the reason we didn’t need to buy another one for the toddler bed. The surface is firm enough that I feel good about tummy time, but my baby actually sleeps through the night now.

The two-stage design is such a practical touch—my toddler now uses the firmer side while the baby sleeps on the softer one, and both seem genuinely comfortable. It’s held up through nightly use for over a year with no sagging or wear, which says a lot for a mattress this light.

I was a little nervous about how firm it would feel, but the organic cotton cover is noticeably breathable and cool to the touch. The fact that it flips to a toddler side later is a nice bonus, and our baby has slept through the night on it since day one.
