The kid immediately started “reading” to the tree, and each branch holds a surprising number of books without sagging. It’s been a week and the room finally stays tidy—books aren’t all over the floor anymore.

Once I got this assembled in her corner, the first thing my son did was stuff a dozen picture books onto the lowest branch—it's sturdier than it looks. The tree shape really does turn an ordinary wall into a cozy reading spot.
