The shearling is even softer in person than it looks online, and the lid opens smoothly with one hand. I’ve already stuffed it with a week’s worth of swaddles and burp cloths, and it fits perfectly under the glider without looking bulky.

Lifting the lid one-handed while juggling a teething baby is genuinely doable, and I love that it doesn’t slam shut. The storage is deep enough for a stack of swaddles plus a few board books.

The shearling texture is so soft and cozy that I actually keep it in our living room instead of the nursery. It holds all of my son’s extra blankets and a few toys, and the lid stays propped open while I dig around, which makes one-handed tidying way easier than I expected.
